Travel Itinerary

We received our detailed travel plans:

11/30: Depart Miami for a long day of traveling...
12/1: Arrive in Beijing
12/2: Tour Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong tour, acrobatics show in the evening
12/3: Tour the Great Wall
12/4: Fly to Zhengzhou
12/5: Lexi will be brought to our hotel around noon!
12/6: Complete the adoption paperwork
12/7-8: Tours & free time
12/9: Fly to Guangzhou
12/10: Go to Shamian Island for Lexi's physical & TB test
12/11-12: Touring & Shopping in Guangzhou
12/13: Consulate appointment
12/14: Receive Lexi's Visa; Fly to Hong Kong
12/15: Depart Hong Kong to go home!

We will arrive at Miami airport on Thursday, Dec. 15.@ 8:54 PM on Delta Flight #2229

Travel dates

We have our travel dates! We received our travel approval this past week and booked our tickets yesterday. We are so excited because not only is Mia traveling with us, but our nephew Bobby is too! He is like our own personal travel agent- he helped us upgrade to Economy Comfort for the flight to Beijing. Hopefully, we will all feel well rested when we arrive in China. We are leaving on 11/30 and returning on 12/15. We will spend a couple days touring Beijing, and then we will fly to Zhengzhou to get Lexi, either on 12/4 or 12/5. I will post our detailed itinerary as soon as we receive it.
